How to ensure the IDENTITY, VIABILITY, and HYPOALLERGENIC
from RAW MATERIALS to FINISHED PRODUCTS ?
This is the lifecycle of our probiotics
Start
Clinical effectiveness of probiotic organisms is dependent on many variables. Identification and selection of appropriate, documented probiotic species as well as maintenance of maximum viability throughout all stages of handling is central to expression of the full potential of beneficial microorganisms.
Genetic Identification by RNA Ribotyping
Ribotyping is a highly reproducible, precise diagnostic genetic fingerprint that identifies and classifies bacteria based upon differences in ribosomal RNA. This method establishes the authenticity of probiotic lactic acid bacteria (LAB) by comparing them to strains documented in the literature to possess a specific genetic makeup or pattern. LAB strains used in Prior Molecules's probiotic formulations have undergone 16S rRNA gene sequencing to validate the specific genetic pattern in comparison to established, documented strains.
Raw Material Quarantine and Analysis
Probiotic organisms can suffer loss of viability during storage and transport. Thus, all incoming probiotic raw materials are quarantined upon arrival and tested to verify that the identity and activity on supplier certificates of analysis meet our strict product specifications. Materials that do not meet specifications are rejected. Materials that pass this certification procedure are maintained in temperature- and humidity-monitored conditions at all times to ensure maximum viability of the probiotic microorganisms.
All of our probiotic formulations are manufactured and packaged at a state-of-the-art GMP-certified facility,
where filtered air systems, humidity and temperature-controlled environments ensure product stability and purity.
